Waldrum Welcomes New Arrivals To Super Falcons Camp

Super Falcons Head Coach Randy Waldrum welcomed two more players to his squad for the pre-Olympics camping exercise in Spain.

The duo of Jumoke Alani and Regina Otu have arrived at the Super Falcons’ camp. Their arrival brings the total number of players in camp to 18.

Midfielder Regina Otu received an invitation on Tuesday after Rosengard star Halimat Ayinde sustained an injury.

Otu takes the place of Ifeoma Onumonu on the alternate squad after the American-based striker was moved to the main squad.

The Super Falcons, currently camped at Jerez de la Frontera, are preparing rigorously for the group phase.

The team is scheduled to depart for Paris next Thursday after a friendly match against Canada the day before.

Nigeria is set to face tough competition in the group phase where they will play against Spain, Brazil, and Japan.
