Nigeria WNT head Coach, Randy Waldrum says he’s proud of his team’s performance against Haiti, but calls for improvement.
Waldrum watched his side grind out a 2-1 win over the Haitians at the ongoing training tour in Antalya Turkey on Friday.
Esther Okonkwo and Asisat Oshoala put the Falcons ahead as they scored in both halves, before Haiti pulled one back.
Reacting to the win, Waldrum said:
“Well I was really proud of the way they played,” Waldrum said in a video posted on Twitter.
“I thought for the first 70 to 75 minutes we played very well, after we conceded the goal, it was chaotic the last 10 or 15 minutes.
“Our overall performance was good, individual performances were very good for us,” He stated.
The former African Champions will next face New Zealand in the second international friendly.
