Waldrum pleased and optimistic of a bright future with Nigeria’s Super Falcons

Coach of Nigeria’s women national Football team Randy Waldrum has stated that he is excited and pleased with the start life of the Super Falcons under his watch after reviewing and reflecting on his first contact with the team at the Turkish invitational tourney in Antalya where the Super Falcons beat all comers go win the competition.

Waldrum speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net said he is excited with the talent level of the players at his disposal and that the tourney also gave him an opportunity to check out some new players who can help strengthen the team while hoping that the Super Falcons become stronger under his reign.

“I was extremely pleased with the overall quality that the team played with. It’s very positive with the team considering we were in camp where we had very little time to train.

Three games in ten days doesn’t leave you with much training time and I also got the opportunity to see some new players but overall I am extremely pleased and proud with the performance that they put on display.”
