Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie has been declared fit for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, round of 16 match against England.

Oparanozie was unused in the Group phase due to injury, but coach Randy Waldrum, during his pre-match conference said the experience forward could play a part against the Lioness.

Super Falcons will take on England at the Lang Park in Melbourne on Monday.

“She is fit now and should play some part against England,” The American disclosed.

It will be good to see her back in action for the team alongside Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu in the attacking position.

Oparanozie is one of the most experienced players in the squad and this could be her last World Cup appearance for Nigeria.
