Victor Moses shines again for Chelsea

Victor Moses put into another impressive shift in the colors of Chelsea on Sunday, as the English champions ran out with a comfortable 2-0 win against Everton in the Premier League.

Moses, 26, played 89 minutes for the Blues and came close to scoring on a couple of occasions in the match.

He also had a 92.9% pass success on day, but was however he was booked in the 76th minute before taking a bow; with the match all but won.

The Nigeria International missed the season’s opening match against Burnley due to suspension, but jumped right back into the first team.

In the 55th minute it was the turn of Moses to go close for Chelsea only to see his shot off a Willian back-heel hit the side-netting.

Moses had another pop at Everton’s goal on 61 minutes but his shot was well saved by Pickford.

Azpilicuerta had a chance to extend Chelsea’s lead after catching Fabregas’ corner with a volley which was blocked by Everton defenders.

With few minutes remaining Ashley Williams had a chance to pull a goal back for Everton but his effort landed on the roof of the Chelsea net.

On the stroke of 90 minutes Willian tried a shot which was too close to Pickford which he saved.

His contribution has helped Antonio Conte’s depleted squad in back to back wins, including a star defensive performance against London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur last week at Wembley.
