Winger Victor Moses is delighted to be back in action after a seven-month long injury lay off.
Moses suffered an Achilles injury while playing for club side Spartak Moscow in the Premier Liga.
The 32 year-old had surgery after picking up the injury in the club’s 2-0 win at Ural in the Russian Premier League on August 9, 2022.
The former Super Eagles winger however made his return in Spartak Moscow’s league game against Akhmat Grozny at the Otkritie Arena on Saturday.
Moses was introduced for Mikhail Ignatov in the 68th minute of the encounter.
The game however ended goalless, but Moses was happy to be part of the squad again after seven months.
He tweeted:
Difficult game today but a well earned point. On a personal note delighted to return to the team today after 7 months out,
Thanks to everyone who’s supported me to get back on the pitch.
