The former Chelsea and Liverpool winger lasted for 72 minutes on the pitch, before being replaced.
Moses opened the scoring for the former Russian Premier League Champions in the 45th minutes, finishing a move started by Quincy Promise.
The lead last for five minutes as the visitors scored twice in quick succession to go in front front.
Spartak Moscow, however, had the last laugh, scoring two late goals, including 92nd minutes winner to seal the maximum points.
