Forward Victor Boniface contributed yet another goal as Bayer Leverkusen recorded a 3-0 home win against Cologne on Sunday.

Boniface had fired blank in his last three games across all competitions, but he found his scoring boots at the weekend.

Leverkusen went ahead after 22nd minutes, thanks to strike from Jonas Hofmann.

Jeremie Frimpong made it 2-0 for Xabi Alonso’s side ten minutes, before Boniface fired the third goal in the 67th minute.

It was the seventh league goal of the season for Boniface, 22, who joined the Die Werkself from Union Saint-Gilloise.
