Former Nigeria international Ambrose Vanzekin has hailed Argentine’s Lionel Messi after leading the Albiceleste to the 2022 FIFA world cup title to complete his Trophy cabinet following Sunday’s pulsating final showdown with France which the Albiceleste won 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw at 120 minutes.
Vanzekin speaking in a chat with brila.net expressed delight to have shared the field playing against Lionel Messi at the U20 world cup final in 2005 as well as the final of the 2008 Olympic games Football event.
He revealed that he has been a passionate Messi fan and equally happy to see the Argentine playmaker eventually become a world champion at the senior level.
