Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is turning his attention away from social media controversies and back to his rehabilitation of the nasty injury he sustained on international duty.
Uzoho damaged knee ligaments in action for Nigeria against Brazil in Singapore last month and is likely to be out for the remainder of the current season.
While he’s been away from on-field action, the 20 year-old seemingly sucked himself into an unwanted confrontation with fans of Deportivo La Coruna over a tweet slighting the struggling team.
He got sticks for it from fans, prompting an apology as loud as his disrespect after he was called out.
But all that seems to be in the past now for uzoho who shared a picture of himself in a hospital with his injured knee strapped.
The road to recovery for the Nigeria international may be long, but he beamed a smile – holding up the peace sign – in the photo suggesting all is going well.
