Qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations is another top priority for the Super Eagles and the team is keen on ensuring a blistering start to the qualifying campaign, Onazi Ogenyi has told brila.net
Nigeria are housed in Group E with South Africa, Libya and Seychelles for the race to reach the 32nd edition of the AFCON in Cameroon.
The Three-time African champions have failed to qualify for successive editions in 2015 and 2015, but Onazi maintains that the players aren’t fretting, ahead of the June 9 fixture against South Africa.
Thanks to all our great fans God bless you all, we keep praying as we still have a long way to go in the campaign. 💪🏿💪🏿🇳🇬🇳🇬 pic.twitter.com/JeWZsrulhL

In 2014, South Africa threw a spanner in the wheels of three-time African champions; drawing Nigeria 2-2 in Uyo, and effectively scuppering any chance of the Afcon title holders returning to defend their crown.
Nonetheless, Onazi, 24, said he considers the clash against Bafana Bafana as just another fixture and expects the team will keep their focus.
