Former U-23 striker Sadiq Umar bagged a brace in Partizan Belgrade win over Astana in the UEFA Europa League game at the Astana Arena on Thursday.
The former AS Roma of Italy forward scored the first goal, two minutes into a half-hour, when his right footed shot from the center of the box went into the top left corner, following Strahinja Pavlovic’s corner.
He then completed his brace in the 73rd minutes, when his right footed shot from the center went in.
Astana reduced the deficit to through Runar Mar Sigurjonsson who smashed home from the six-yard box.
Partizan Belgrade is now level on four points at the top of the group with Manchester United. The English side plays a barren draw with Dutch side Az Alkmaar on Thursday.
