Real Sociedad striker, Umar Sadiq made his first start of the season, on Sunday, in a 0-0 draw against Getafe.
Sadiq, who had come off the bench in the previous two matches, was included in the starting lineup but struggled to make an impact, managing only one shot on goal.
With Sociedad desperately pushing for a victory, Umar was substituted in the 67th minute as the team sought to change the game’s momentum.
This is his third of the season, having previously made two substitute appearances.
Sadiq’s future at Real Sociedad remains uncertain following his interest in leaving the club before the close of the transfer window.
The striker will be aiming to establish himself this season and improve upon his record of three goals and one assist in 26 games from the previous campaign.
