Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq has traveled with his Real Sociedad teammates to their pre-season camp in Japan despite ongoing transfer rumors linking him with an exit.

Sadiq’s future at the club has been uncertain due to limited playing time.

He joined Real Sociedad two years ago with high expectations following his impressive performances at Almeria.

However, injuries have significantly affected his career at the club, including a cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for most of his first season.

Last season, he faced more injury issues and struggled to secure regular playing time upon his return.

The forward played 36 matches, scored 3 goals with an assist.

While Getafe has expressed interest in the 27-year-old striker, recent reports suggest that Sadiq is not keen on a move to the Spanish side.

Real Sociedad is set to play against Japanese club Gamba Osaka, followed by matches against Osasuna, Rennes, and Union Berlin.
