Gernot Rohr should pick two stand out players from the CHAN 2018-bound Eagles according to Ex Player Ifeanyi Udeze.

Nigeria will make a third appearance in the competition – for players based in their home Association league – and Salisu Yusuf’s men are one of the hot favorites.

Udeze, who played for Bendel Insurance in the Nigerian league before his European sojourn, admonished insists the Eagles Technical Adviser will find at least two players good enough to make the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.

‘Rohr should select at least two players from the CHAN team for the World Cup.

‘There’s no reason why we can’t have players from the NPFL in Russia. It will boost the league, help players confidence and promote our football.

However, the former defender warned that the CHAN Eagles must stay focused on the task of competing in Morocco rather than the World Cup.
