Former PAOK and Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze has laid into WAGS of footballers who quickly turn rouge when the privileges of playing no longer exist.
Udeze said even the most faithful WAGs eventually change and become intolerable after the ostentatious lifestyle and other excesses are cut.
On Wednesday, the former Nigeria International explained the challenges some Sports men face with the female folk on his show on Brila FM Ifeanyi Udeze’s Diary.
‘When you stop playing football and have to cut down on the spending, that peace you thought existed in your home disintegrates because most women change.
‘The luxury you enjoy as a professional footballer, who earns good money can be intoxicating. Switching from that standard of living to a more frugal situation is hard for many to deal with and if you don’t have a good woman by your side it becomes depressing,’ he explained.
‘What you realize is a lot of these women are deceptive and put up appearances when the going is good. But when all that privilege is taken away, then you’ll see the true nature of most of them.’
