John Ogu scored with just 12 minutes on the clock before Striker, Anthony Nwakaeme netted a brace as Hapoel Be’er Sheva secured a 3-2 win away to Honved and 5-3 aggregate victory to advance into the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
Ogu’s goal came from a rebound inside the box before Nwakaeme curled home from the edge of the box four minutes later.
On the stroke of half time, the home side reduced the deficit from the penalty spot.
In the second half, the host scored again on the 73rd team to level up but the aggregate scoreline stood at 4-3 with Hapoel still favorites to advance.
But with six minutes to the end of the contest, Anthony Nwakaeme broke the Camel’s back with a slithering run, placing the ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper for his second on the night.
The Ligat ha’Al champions had sealed a 2-1 win in the first leg at the Turner Stadium in Beersheba with the Nigerians putting in a good shift.

On that occasion the 28-year-old forward, Nwakaeme got an assist for Hapoel’s second goal.
With the victory on Wednesday, Hapoel next face Bulgarian champions, Ludogorets Razgrad, who sealed their place in the next round through a 5-3 aggregate win against FK Žalgiris.
