Christantus Uche delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a goal and providing an assist as Getafe cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over Real Sociedad in Sunday’s La Liga clash.

Uche, making his 24th league appearance this season, now has two goals and one assist to his name in the ongoing campaign.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 72nd minute when Uche struck a stunning goal to put Getafe in front, silencing the home crowd at the Reale Arena.

Just two minutes later, Carles Pérez doubled the visitors’ advantage, taking full control of the game. Uche then turned provider, setting up Pérez for his second of the match, sealing a dominant victory for Getafe.

The win lifts Getafe to 14th place on the La Liga table with 23 points, while Real Sociedad remains in ninth with 28 points.

Up next for Getafe is a trip to face 12th-placed Sevilla on February 1.
