U20 AFCON: I have Five Coaches studying our Opponents — Bosso

Nigeria’s U20 MNT coach Ladan Bosso says the ongoing CAF U20 AFCON is highly competitive and congratulated his team for reaching the semi-final.

Bosso insists, the ongoing tournament in Egypt is full of quality players who will become household names in the nearest future.

The U20 Africa Cup of Nations has produced spectacular football, with Senegal and Nigeria looking unstoppable at the moment.

Uganda, Gambia and South Sudan also showed moments of brilliance with their impressive style of play.

When asked of his opinion about the competition, Bosso said,”The quality I have seen in this tournament in the coming years African teams will play in the FIFA World Cup final.”

Meanwhile the Coach is excited to book his place in the semi-finals and credits the qualification to his colleagues back home.

“We achieved our first target which is to qualify for the World Cup, and that was achieved together but most importantly back home being the President of the Nigerian Coaches Association, the Nigerian coaches are solidly behind me,” he added.

“I have almost five coaches back home who are studying the opponents in the tournament, and they send it to me to work on them so I dedicate this qualification to the Nigerian coaches.”

On Monday, Nigeria will face Gambia in Alexandria for a place in the final.
