Nigeria U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, will face Liberia in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying tournament.
The Flamingos advanced after a 7-1 aggregate victory against Burkina Faso. A 1-1 outcome in the first leg was followed by a decisive 6-0 victory in Abuja to see the team advance into the next round.
Liberia on the other hand surprised Senegal turning a 3-1 first-leg deficit to win 2-0 in the return leg, and progressed on away goals rule.
Meanwhile, Liberia will host Nigeria in the first leg of their encounter in Monrovia on June 8, with the second leg set to take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium a week later.
