Super Eagles striker Anthony Okpotu has completed his transfer from Tunisian side US Monastir to Qatar Sports Club.
Okpotu penned a three-year contract with the Doha club and the transfer fee is expected to be in the region of $1.2 million.
Tunisian popular sports news channel, Ettachkila.com, reported on Monday that Monastir tried to HD on to the player, but discussion with the players’ representatives fell through.
Meanwhile, Okpotu’s compatriot Moses Orkuma also signed the same club in a separate deal that could rise to $700,000.
The Tunisian league one club also confirmed their departure on the social media handle on Monday.
