Former Watford’s captain Troy Deeney has backed Emmanuel Dennis to be a success at the club.
Dennis has settled to life quickly in the Premier League, after joining Watford from Club Brugge last summer.
The 24-year-old has 11 goals contribution for Watford in the Premier League this season, and only Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah has more.
Following his goal against Chelsea, Dennis became the first Watford player to score in three consecutive Premier League games, since Deeney did it in 2017.
“The legends of this club all move forward and I’m just a name. There is an opportunity for someone else. I think [Emmanuel] Dennis is playing great and if he sticks around for five years, he could go and do that as well.”He told the Club’s website.
