Watford are yet to receive a formal bid from Major League Soccer side, LA Galaxy for defender Troost Ekong.
American outlet, CBS Sports reported that LA Galaxy are interested in the Nigerian defender and want to take him to the state on loan.
However, according to Watford Observer the Hornets have received no offer from Galaxy over a potential loan move for Troost-Ekong.
“Club sources say they have received no calls from the Major League Soccer side, after claims in America suggested they were interested in signing the Nigeria captain temporarily,” the website wrote.
Ekong who still has three year on his contract is currently lacking adequate game time at the Club and he’s now the third choice for Roy Hodgson.
