CB Jordan Torunarigha says his target is to represent Nigeria at next year’s African Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Torunarigha made his Super Eagles against Mozambique in Portugal earlier this month.
The defender came on as substitute for Calvin Bassey in the second half of the 3-2 win.
“I have two big goals with Nigeria: the Africa Cup of Nations next year and the World Cup in 2026. I will and we will give everything for that,” He said.
Torunarigha has played eleven games for Gent in the Belgian Jupiler league this season, contributing a goal and assist.
He played the entire minutes as Gent lost 2-0 at Cercle Brugge on Sunday, made three tackles and one foul.
