In a recent update on global football market valuation Nigeria’s MNT, the Super Eagles, witnessed a decline in their position, sliding two spots to become the 15th most valuable international team worldwide.
Despite the drop in valuation, Super Eagles however still retain their status as the most valuable team in Africa.
The team is now currently valued at €343m— a €2m decrease from their previous valuation in March 2023 when they held the 13th position with a value of €345m.
Victor Osimhen continues to lead as Nigeria’s most expensive player, boasting a market value of €110m, nearly half of the entire squad’s total value.
He’s followed by, Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, with a market value of €40m, while Calvin Bassey remain at €16m.
The fluctuation in market values reflects both individual player performances at club and national team level.
