Nigerian midfielder Ibrahim Said is attracting interest from EPL champions Manchester City and several other top sides in England following his performance at the FIFA U17 World Cup in October.
Said scored three goals in the competition, all of them coming against Ecuador as he helped Nigeria fight back to a 3-2 victory.
Nigeria did not go past the second round of the competition, but the 16 year-old had done enough to catch the eyes of the biggest scouts.
According to www.teamtalk.com, “City are hoping to persuade Said to move to England, although neighbours Manchester United are also keen, along with Liverpool and Chelsea.”
“…he has been in Europe and attended the Ballon d’Or awards as he was nominated for Goal of the Tournament.
The English sports news portal, though reveals the Dabo Babes Academy product could favor a move to Portugal with either Porto or Sporting Lisbon “trying to entice him to begin his career with them“.
