Nigerian striker Toluwalase Arokodare has signed for German club FC Cologne from Latvian side Valmiera FC.
The youngster flew to Germany on Friday and signed to remain with the Bundesliga side throughout the 2020-2021 season.
According to BILD reports, 19-year-old Toluwalase Arokodare rejected offers from Belgian side Anderlecht to join the Cologne in order to test himself at the top level.
His arrival means Cologne has grabbed another attacker, as it is still completely open when Anthony Modeste (32 / knee problems) will be available again.
Before Arokodare, FC had already brought the Swede Sebastian Andersson (29) from Union Berlin to replace Jhon Córdoba (27 / for 15 million to Hertha BSC) this week.
In addition, the Slovak Ondrej Duda (25) was signed as the new playmaker by Hertha BSC.
