Tolu Arokodare Reveals Dream Club

KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare has shared his aspiration to play for La Liga giants Real Madrid in the future.

Having started his career in Nigeria, Arokodare played for several Academies before having trials with European clubs SC Freiburg and Toulouse.

He eventually joined Latvian club Valmiera in June 2019.

The 23-year-old has steadily climbed the ranks and sees the Champions League winners as a potential future destination.

In an exclusive interview with Brila Media, Arokodare humorously shared his daily routine and aspirations:

“When I wake up, I go through my phone, read prayers from my mom and dad, reply to messages, and see Real Madrid wanting to sign me.”

Despite his ambitions, the Nigerian striker confirmed his current commitment to Genk, while remaining open to future opportunities:

“For now, I’m still a player of Genk, and I’m focused on Genk. We didn’t qualify for any European games, so we’re going to focus on the league and cup games.

“All my focus is on coming back fit and trying to help the team in whatever way I can, hopefully impressing the new coach.”

“But if the opportunity comes and Genk is open to it, and I’m open to it, then we will find something that suits us both. Until that moment comes, I’m still a Genk player and focused on that,” he concluded.
