Bayelsa Queens midfielder, Amarachi Okoronkwo has stated her intention to fight for her place in order to play for the super falcons in the qualifiers of Tokyo Olympic 2020 against Algeria.
Amarachi told brila.net that she will not relent and will also strive harder to make the cut of players that will represent the country in the two legged qualifiers game despite missing out from the just concluded women world cup in France team.
‘I’m happy to have been called up to the team this time and I will give all to prove my worth in the team.
‘We would make sure we beat them to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic because Algeria are not our match. Amarachi told brila.net.
