Nigerian track sensation, Tobi Amusan showcased her Olympic readiness with an outstanding performance at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational held on Saturday.

The former World champion dominated the women’s 100m hurdles event, clinching victory with a remarkable time of 12.40 seconds (0.9 wind assistance), setting the World Lead time for this season.

Amusan’s spectacular run saw the Nigerian outpace formidable competitors, including Jamaica’s own World Champion, Danielle Williams, who finished second with a time of 12.46 seconds. The United States’ Christina Clemons secured third place with a time of 12.54 seconds.

Amidst fierce competition, Amusan’s stellar performance not only solidified her status as a top contender but also preparation ahead of the upcoming Olympics in Paris.

Tobi Amusan narrowly misses out of medal in last Olympics in Tokyo.
