Nigerian track queen Tobi Amusan finished fourth in the 100m heat at the prestigious Tom Jones Invitational.

The multiple African hurdle champion clocked a season’s best of 11.26 seconds (1.1) despite finishing 4th in her heat.

Amusan’s performance marked her return to competition after nearly a month-long hiatus following her successful 100m Hurdles title defense at the African Games in Ghana.

Amusan, renowned 100m hurdles specialist utilized the 100m sprint race as part of her ongoing build up for the Olympics and other upcoming competitions.

It was her sixth 100m race in the span of four years, showcasing her dedication to refining her skills on the track.

The race was won by Abby Steiner, crossing the finish line with an impressive time of 11.05 seconds.

Following closely behind was Kiara Parker, securing second place with a time of 11.13 seconds, while Maia McCoy finished third place, with identical time of 11.26 seconds.
