Bayelsa Queens head coach, Ogbonda Whyte has called for a complete overhaul of the Super Falcons, emphasizing that both the technical department and the player roster need fresh faces to rejuvenate the team.

Whyte believes that a shake-up is essential for the team to regain its competitive edge.

“It’s high time we reset the team, from the technical crew” Whyte stated. “Total overhauling of the, not just the technical crew. Because most of the technical crew have been staying there for too long.”

“So the team now need a fresh technical crew and at the same time, new players need to be invited to the team because a lot of the players who have overstayed in the national team there. So we need some new faces on the national team again.”

Whyte stressed that this overhaul would inject new energy into the squad and encourage everyone to work harder.

“By so doing, I tell you to go a long way to help the team because some people now feel that it is the permanent office and nobody can drop them, so they don’t give their best.

“But when they see that people are coming in and definitely everybody will have to work. So the team really need an overhaul from the technical crew and the players.” he concluded.
