Former Super Eagles winger and Players Union Chief, Tijani Babangida has urged local players to utilize the channel that is the player’s union whenever they have contractual challenges.
The former Ajax man told brila.net that most NPFL players have no knowledge of their contracts and need to be enlightened to contract statutes.
He also charged the players to have recognized agents as most do not because they want to eat their cake and have it.
Babangida also charged all players, both active and retired to come together so they can achieve greatness together and move Nigerian football forward.
The fleetfooted winger netted the consolation goal in Nigeria’s 4-1 loss to Denmark at the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
