The Future Is Bright For Super Eagles – Ndidi

Nigerian midfield powerhouse Wilfred Ndidi has hailed striker following his role in Nigeria’s 4-2 win against the Crocodiles of Lesotho in Maseru at the Setsoto Stadium on Sunday.

 

Osimhen gave a performance to remember when he scored twice, and also set up Samuel Chukwueze alongside Alex Iwobi to help Nigeria  strengthened its position on top of Group L of 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 

Nkoto Masoabi pit the hosts in frontin the 11th minute through a powerful header, before Osimhen set up Everton forward Alex Iwobi for equaliser in the 11th minute,

 

Samuel Chukwueze put Nigeria ahead couple of minutes laters , from another Osimhen’s assist, before the 20-year-old then scored twice in the 75th and 84th minutes respectively.

 

Ndidi who was also on parade however lashed praises on the Lille forward for the impressive display and added that the team is happy to stay on top of the log.

 

“Good to wrap the international break with a win and top of the table…The future is bright for the team @victorosimhen9 ,” Ndidi, tweeted after the game.

 

Nigeria leads the Group with maximum six points from two games, three ahead of second placed Benin Republic, while Sierra Leone and Lesotho occupied the last two positions on the log
