More reactions trail the Enyeama Super Eagles-Return debate and the latest by NFF Technical Committee member, Paul Bassey takes the case to a whole new level.
Enyeama, Nigeria’s most capped Goalkeeper, quit the Super Eagles under controversial circumstances after a messy, public row with then national team Coach, Sunday Oliseh.
The player and gaffer no longer with the national team; after Oliseh also exited in 2016, and since then their voids have been filled by Carl Ikeme and Gernot Rohr.
However though, Bassey, who is a CAF and NFF non-executive member, believes the 34-year-old former Enyimba FC goalie can still be of immense value to the current team.
In a chat with brila.net Bassey said that the 34-year-old remains the best active Nigerian goalkeeper and “by a mile”.
