Recently, Abdul Maikaba and Henry Makinwa, coaches Of Plateau United and Katsina United respectively have joined voices to urge the NFF to make the nucleus of the age-grade teams home-based specific.
Replying for the NFF, the scribe of the Federation Dr. Muhammed Sunusi told brila.net that the best players in the league always leave at the slightest opportunity.
“As far as the National team is concerned, you have to look for the best and if the best is based at home so be it, and if it is the combination of home and foreign-based players, so be it,” he said.
