Coach of South Africa U20 national team Thabo Senong has expressed delight after leading South Africa’s U20 national team to a Bronze medal finish at the just concluded Africa U20 cup of nations in Niger.
Thabo speaking in a chat with www.brila.netsaid he was pleased to have finished ahead of a good Nigeria side and that it was a rewarding end to a good tournament for his side with the quality of test faced in the course of the competition.
Thabo added that the Third place game against Nigeria was used to once again reassess his team, give caps to some unused players and also a chance to start looking at how his team will look like ahead of the FIFA U20 world cup this summer in Poland.
