Tara Moore who pulled off the greatest comeback in modern tennis, as she faced a match point while losing 6-0, 5-0 to Jessika Ponchet but managed to come back to win the match at the ITF World Tour event in Sunderland, has said her win is a result of her fighting spirit.
Although she was close to being ‘double-bagel’, the term for a 6-0, 6-0 loss, Moore ended up winning by a scoreline of 0-6, 7-6, 6-3.
Moore currently ranked 479 believes her comeback is significant for young ones “I hope I can just inspire all the young boys and girls (and adults) to never give up and to keep on fighting.”
