Remo stars head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote has stated that the success achieved in the just concluded league season was down to a very strong start.
They went on an 11-game unbeaten run in the opening weeks of the NPFL season and Ogunbote admitted that run helped his side’s confidence and gave the Players motivation to fight throughout the season.
The Coach told Brila.net that the season began for the team in a way that got many of the Oppositions underrating, the newly promoted side.
For the first time in the Club’s history, Remo Stars secured a continental ticket and will be one of the NPFL’s flag bearers at next season’s CAF Champions League.
