National Canoeing champion Oluwatoyin Alayode says she’ll return to training and work on beating her own record after clinching gold at the recently concluded Para Canoeing and Rowing National competition.
Oluwatoyin clocked a time of 1:35:98 to reach the finish line fastest in the KL 2 Women A final. She told brila.net she knows the expectation to excel becomes greater and she’s determined to return better and faster.
‘I’m challenged to get back to training and work even harder because I understand the expectation now is more. So, I have to beat my time, ensure I’m faster at every competition.’
