Bendel Insurance midfielder, Ezekiel Tamara Bendel Insurance’s midfielder, Ezekiel Tamara, says the players must ahead of upcoming return leg of their CAF Confederation Cup match against ASO Chlef.
Tamara was arguably the best player on the pitch when the Benin Arsenal defeated the Algerians 1-0 at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium on Saturday.
Imade Osarenkhoe scored the winning goal in the first half.
Reacting to the result, Tamara emphasized the need to keep pushing forward for the match in Algeria.
“It was a great atmosphere and the supporters were wonderful, “Tamara said after the game.
“It’s not over, we must continue pushing ahead of the return leg in Algeria next week.”
The second leg will be held at the Mohamed Boumezrag Stadium.
The winner of the tie will face AS Berkane in the next round.
