Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is yet sign a contract to become head Coach of the Benin Republic MNT.

Sequel to the news widely reported that former Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has been appointed as the new coach of the Squirrel of Benin Republic.

Rohr won the first meeting between both sides 2-1, at the Nest champions in Uyo back in 2019 and the Franco-German tactician said he is aware Benin Republic will give his side a difficult game at home.

Omotoyossi believes the Squirrels of Benin will defeat Nigeria comfortably in the second leg clash between the sides.
