English-Nigerian forward Hakeem Ayodeji Araba has expressed his eagerness to play for the Super Eagles at the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The 27-year-old striker Araba was courted 10years ago by the English FA in a bid to lure him represent England in the junior Under 17 Level.
Speaking to brila.net, Hakeem Araba who currently plays Club football for Finish Club, Palloseura Kemi Kings stated his readiness to play for his fatherland and will be really grateful if he gets the opportunity.
The England-born powerful attacker spoke highly of the current crop of players in the Eagles but maintained that it will be a massive honour to be part of the squad to Russia.
“In the Super Eagles, we have a presence, amazing players like Victor Moses, John Mikel Obi, Musa, Ighalo and others,”
“When other countries are mentioning their great players ahead of the Mundial, we also have ours” The Superman concluded.
Araba started his youth career with Peterborough United at 17, went on to sign his first professional contract at the age of 18 at Dagenham & Redbridge.
