The Super Falcons have been drawn in Group B of the tournament to be hosted by Australia and New Zealand next year.
The draw took place at the Aotea Centre, Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand on Saturday evening (morning in Nigeria).
The record African Champions will face co-host Australia, Republic of Ireland and Olympic Champions Canada.
The Randy Waldrum-led team is the only African side to have played at every FIFA World Cup since 1991.
The team’s best performance at the tournament was in 1999, where they reached the quarter final.
Another Africa representative Zambia are drawn in Group, where they’ll face Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
The tournament will will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and is scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023.
