Nigeria’s Francisca Ordega and Ashleigh Plumptre couldn’t prevent Al Ittihad Ladies from suffering a 2-1 defeat against Saudi Women’s Premier League leaders Al Nassr.
Ordega got Al Ittihad off to a flying start, scoring in the 12th minute to put her side ahead.

However, Brazilian forward Duda Francelino led Al Nassr’s fightback, leveling the score just 10 minutes later.
The decisive moment came early in the second half when Francelino struck again in the 48th minute, sealing all three points for Al Nassr and dealing a blow to Al Ittihad’s title ambitions.
