Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has said his team will learn from defeat to Mexico at the ongoing Revelation cup.

The American gaffer says the game was an opportunity for the entire team to try something new.

Nigeria lost 1-0 to the host, Mexico in their first game at the four-nation invitational tournament tagged, Revelation Cup on Wednesday night.

Kiana Palacios scored the winner for Mexico, with five minutes left to play.

“It’s a learning process for us. It was an opportunity to try new things. New ideas and new tactics,” Waldrum said after the game.

“We started the game strongly though they dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half.

“It’s always disappointing when you concede late in any game. We will learn from this defeat and prepare for our next game.”

The Super Falcons have now lost their last six matches, but , the record African Champions will take on Colombia next this Saturday.
