Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take part in this year’s Alanya Gold City Women’s Cup.
The invitational international women’s tournament set for 26 February to 7 March in Turkey is expected to feature 12 teams.
The nations that have confirmed participation in the friendly tournament include Nigeria, Mexico, Romania, Ukraine and Slovakia.
France, who Nigeria are to meet in an international friendly in April, have also thrown their hat in the ring.
But Les Bleues will be sending their Team B, as their first team will be in the U.S. defending the SheBelieves Cup title.
Alanya Women’s Tournament will mark Nigeria’s second tournament in 2018 after the ongoing inaugural WAFU Women’s Cup.
It will also be Nigeria’s first series of matches outside Africa since the 2015 Women’s World Cup.
The tournament is one of a series of international friendly tournaments set for the forthcoming jam-packed international break.
