In 2017, The Nigeria Super Eagles trashed the Argentine national team in an international friendly 4-2 in the City of Krasnodar, Russia.

The scoreline was somewhat incredible not only because the Super Eagles came back from 2 goals to lead 4-2 but trouncing a star-studded Argentine side is a feeling to cherish.

However, a certain Brian Idowu announced himself in the Nigeria football terrain when he registered the fourth goal – coming in as a second-half sub.

The Russian based Eagle may likely feature in the upcoming friendlies against Poland and Serbia for his impressive performance on his first outing for the Super Eagles.

2, Chidi Odiah (CSKA Moskow)

The ex-Super Eagles flamboyant wing – back had an impressive spell at CSKA.

Odiah who represented Nigeria at the 2006 and 2010 Nations Cup and the 2010 World Cup made 84 appearances for CSKA. He won the Russian Premier League and Russian Cup as well as the UEFA Cup now Europa League during his time with the Russian outfit.

3, Peter Odemwingie (Lokomotiv Moscow)

The Olympic silver medalist made a switched to Lokomotiv in 2007 for a reported fee of 14 million dollars.

He was a formidable member of the Lokomotiv squad. He scored 21 goals in 75 matches for while in Russia.

4, Emmanuel Emenike (Spartak Moscow)
