NFF General Secretary, Dr. Muhammad Sanusi has confirmed that the Super Eagles friendly match against the Portugal National team will hold in September and it was initiated by coach Jose Peseiro.
The September window was initially slated for the AFCON qualifiers but it was moved since the competition has been moved to 2024.
Sanusi speaking in a chat with brila.net, Sanusi stated that the Nigerian Football Federation is doing everything to maximize the opportunities that are available with the FIFA windows to keep the team in good shape by organizing quality friendly matches.
