Mutiu Adepoju has stated that he is excited about the performance of Nigerian players since the return of football in Europe amidst the Coronavirus pandemic scare.
Adepoju speaking on the wake of Kelechi Iheanachor’s goal for Leicester city in the 2-1 defeat against Everton praised the effort of the Nigerian players who have been actively involved in games for their respective clubs.
“It’s a good thing if all the players are playing well at their clubs and doing fine having minutes and playing time, it’s good for the super Eagles and it will better help to bring competition to the team and it will help the team to do well.”
